It measures between 38 and 43 cm. It has dark brown plumage above, and gray below and on the head. The chest is lighter and spotted with black. The bill is dark gray. When flying, the green mirror with a suede-like rear edge is noticeable on the secondary remiges.Taken from: Wikipedia.
