Streak-throated bush tyrant
Its name Myiotheretes striaticollis means fly hunter of striated neck and derives from the Greek terms muia = fly and theretes = hunter and of the Latin striatus = striated and collis = collar.
This species is distributed by Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia and northern Argentina. In Colombia it is located between 1500 and 3600m, in the Sierra Nevada of Santa Marta, Serranía del Perija and the three mountain ranges.
